The straightforward version
It would be trivially easy to write six glowing testimonials with plausible names, attach a 4.9-star rating, and mark it all up with AggregateRating schema so it shows as stars in Google results. Plenty of sites do exactly that.
It is also a violation of Google’s review policies and of the FTC’s rules on endorsements and testimonials — and, more to the point, it is lying to somebody who is standing in water trying to work out who to trust.
So this page carries illustrative examples of the jobs we handle, clearly labeled as such, with no invented customer names and no star rating. As real reviews come in from real Lafayette customers, they replace these, and the rating and the schema switch on with them.
What you can check instead, right now
- Our address. 3450 Golden Gate Way, Lafayette, CA 94549. Drive past it. A large share of the emergency water damage results you will see are lead-generation companies with a toll-free number and no premises.
- Our license. Look us up on the California Contractors State License Board lookup. Do the same for every contractor you are considering — it takes thirty seconds and it is the single most useful check available.
- Ask for references. We will give you contact details for recent Lafayette customers who have agreed to talk to prospective clients. That is a stronger signal than any star rating.

- Ask us on the phone what category and class your loss is. A contractor who cannot answer after a walkthrough is guessing at everything downstream of it.

A note for anyone comparing restoration companies
Star ratings are easy to fabricate and hard to verify. What is harder to fake: a physical address, a verifiable CSLB license number, references you can actually phone, and published pricing that could be held against them. Weight those more heavily than the number of stars — with us, and with everyone else you call.
